if marc jacobs showed little girls playing dress up for his own runway show, his girl was all grown up by the time his show for louis vuitton rolled around. a similar vibe, very mid century secretary a la mad men, the difference - the figure. curves were the most important accessory for this show, at some points almost spilling over. a strong message in such a weight obsessed industry. if it wasn't clear throughout the show that the body is back, i think it rang loud and clear when elle macpherson was sent down the runway to close the show. i'm in.
