i'm having a bit of a tough time making it through the day today - but the glitzy detail in these looks shown by miu miu this week for their spring 2010 collection is dazzling me through my mid-afternoon slump. i can't help but think of the infamous (and in my opinion genius) performance by britney circa when she was hot.

white. come the first weekend in september, no-one knows what to do with it. scared off by passé fashion "rules", most people throw all things white in the back of their closet, not to be touched until may. i however, think white is a staple in any closet, even in february. the below look, though shown for spring, would be more than appropriate year round. when you conform to a strict fashion rule book, your not only taking the fun out of dressing, your missing a chance to lighten the dark dreary days of winter.
