louis vuitton fall 2010
if marc jacobs showed little girls playing dress up for his own runway show, his girl was all grown up by the time his show for louis vuitton rolled around. a similar vibe, very mid century secretary a la mad men, the difference - the figure. curves were the most important accessory for this show, at some points almost spilling over. a strong message in such a weight obsessed industry. if it wasn't clear throughout the show that the body is back, i think it rang loud and clear when elle macpherson was sent down the runway to close the show. i'm in.

marie claire uk : april 2010
the latest issue of uk marie claire features the ridiculously gorgeous diane kruger. i am obsessed with her style, both personal and red carpet. for the most part, i'm not a huge fan of marie claire's editorials but this shoot really highlights her versatility. she manages to make the same look sultry in one photo and edgy and cool in another. beautiful.

and to think, only a few years back she was on a trip of self discovery with britney spears in crossroads. her road led to an insane dress at the oscars, britney's . . . not so much.
